procrastination is like masturbation.  it feels good until you realize you only do it because you have a small penis and your mother loved you to

kiel: you know how when you exercise a lot then when you're done you're tired, but then later you have a lot of energy?  that's how i feel.

kie: the room.  i need some posters or something or at least something to look at.

kio: rufus wainwright : hallelujah (a good one to listen to on repeat)

well.  pete needs something to read when he is procastinating.  well here goes.

it's been a while since i updated.  i've gone from updating every other day to every other week. this can only mean one thing:   school is doing me up the butt.  well at least if it's from behind i don't have to see johns hopkins' ugly quaker cousin-lovin face.

yeah baby.  yeah.

anyway yeah.  hmm.  saturday (9/28) we had a party here at 334.  the fall festival, as it were. v. good times, however, we think a half barrel of yuengling (plus a case of cans which was supposed to be in reserve, and a 12 pack that somebody brought) was way too much.  we had about half the keg left (~100 12 oz. beers).  so we kept it on ice and sold it to carolyn moss for her party last friday.  sly.  sly indeed we are.  we need a kegerator, yes we do.  so we ended up spending over $210 on this party, but we got some back from carolyn, and there were a few people who helped out, and we'll get like 30 back for the tap.  it's too bad i got drunk REALLY fast because i think if i had stayed sober our resources could have been managed better.

anyway, the next day i set a personal sleep record: 14 and a half hours!  i was more hungover than a clothesline.  oh wow i am funny.

so sunday was the bad beginning to a v. bad week. lemme tell you. to make a long story short (TOO LATE!!)

monday: biochem exam, thermo problem set
tuesday: 80 pages of spanish, spanish paper
wednesday: kinetics hw, molecular biotech hw (received next week's hw assignments, again with concurrent due dates, and also a thermo problem set due the same day)
thursday: pchem lab due
friday: handed in p chem lab

so i didn't sleep very much last week, let alone have time to update the weblog.  if you notice the previous entry, you'll see the reason my week was so hellish.  yeah cause i did nothing the week before.  let that be a lesson to you kids.

well, this weekend i did just about nothing as well, although i think i deserved at least a small break.  i skipped oklahoma rehearsal again today.  oops.  i gotta get off book asap. i'm performing october 19 and 20 if anyone's interested in seeing me tap dance in cowboy boots.

good news: in spite of my handing in the p-chem lab a day late, the ta didn't take any points off, since we used the shitty ir machine that decided that it was going to display ONLY EVEN NUMBERS!!

friday afternoon sarah and i hopped in the car and drove up to lewisburg, pa to see neal play a sax concerto.  boy was he surprised.  he nearly shit his pants.  his nice black tuxedo pants!  anyway, so he was awesome, as usual, and i actually managed to stay awake through the rest of the concert.  we then went out to eat, and then i crashed on neal's floor.  i mean i fell asleep literally within minutes of hitting the floor. the hard concrete floor.  but at least i got to sleep in (more than 2 days' worth of sleep during the week)

saturday pete, sarah and i took kelly out for her birthday, to the cheesecake factory.  i've never been there before but the food was pretty good, and the cheesecake probably would have been better had i had enough room for it.  i felt like the guy from monty python's the meaning of life.

but sir, it is only wafer-thin!

and saturday night there was the mental notes sleepover at greg's pad, chock full of good times all around (CLUE is the best movie ever, by the way), although i didn't sleep there, since i desperately craved my own bed, and to take my contacts out.

and today, sunday i also did nothing.  tomorrow it's back to the hustle and bustle of the week, but you know i think i'm ready for it.  as long as i work my ass off doing the week and can do absolutely shit on the weekend, well, that's fine with me.

i think i shall go to bed, and i'll try to update more often with my abundant tongue-in-cheek social commentary.

good night, moon.
