no foolin'
kiel: just fine, thanks.
kie: my office. my what? yeah, that's right.
kio: some crazy indian music that one our post docs has on iTunes.
yup. i have designated office space that is all mine. i rule! well, it's not totally mine, i share it with 3 post-docs. but i do have my own desk! if you'd ever like to come visit it's in NEB 026. i still have to put my desk together, though, and apparently such a task takes about 3 hours. ugh.
it's april fools' day. total score so far: me, about 6. everybody else, 0. again, i rule. i came close to being pranked earlier, though.
jing, one of our grad students, told me there was food left over from seminar in maryland 110. so i bolted over there and the instant before i opened the door i thought to myself, "wait a minute... there's probably some kind of class in there or something that i'm going to barge into. clever, jing, very clever indeed." so i went back to the lab, thinking i had foiled his plan. turns out he _wasn't_ kidding and there really was food. ok, so i went back. when i opened the door to MD 110 (ever so slowly) i found no food on the table, but there was a garbage can full of danishes. FULL! so i ate one of the ones that was on top. does that make me a bad person?
my phone is broken. back in february i stepped on the screen. if you've ever broken an lcd screen then you probably have an idea of what it looked like. anyway, i had managed to continue using it without a display. that is, until m charger died. so now i have no phone. i'm gonna get one soon though, stay tuned.
mental notes tour in california was many bombs-diggity. stay tuned to mentalnotes.org for pics and narratives in the near future. by the way, we were on tv, on the price is right. michelle won $960 worth of crystal stemware. read all about it in the news-letter.
did you know that you have a one-in-a-million chance of dying if you eat 40 Tbsp of peanut butter in one sitting? me neither.
time for drug delivery, gotta go.
