give us this day week

kiel: on a scale from 1 to awesome i am super-great
kie: the plate reader computer, in the back room of the lab
kio: there's so much ambient noise in here, it may as well be music

so my goal for the summer is to update the weblog daily weekly. this is a rather far-fetched goal, but i feel that with the proper determination it is possible. i think if you're reading this you know how much i like to talk. so it shouldn't be too hard to pontificate about one thing or another every day week. i'll try not to make each entry a summary of my day week, though, because no matter how interesting my life is to me, i know you don't really give a crap about my quotidian weekly happenings.

so what's on the menu today?

just a quick summary of what's happened since i last updated:

  • won some bottle openers and beer coozies at city limits in fort mchenry, which i think i can safely say is my new favorite bar. not that i had a favorite bar before.
  • drove to umcp to find a paper from a journal that the library mysteriously didn't have
  • partcipated in the biggest mental notes event in recorded history, the 10th anniversary concert. pics will be up soon, i promise.
  • visited w.r. grace and saw all kinds of cool industrial chemical equipment
  • graduated college
  • ate at least 200 chicken wings.

yup. life is good in baltimore. and my work at the lab this week has been less than stressful. so i think i'll go home. ta!

nb. i realize that i just summarized the past month, which in the first paragraph i pledged not to do. however there were some important events in there that i felt needed to be addressed. deal with it.
