i'm 37

feelin': hyper (again)

now playin': nothing.  everyone in here's asleep and i can't find my headphones.

man i am drinking a lot of coffee lately.  probably because dunkin donuts is the only place in schuylkill county (besides wal-mart, the novelty of which wears off after a while) that's open past 10 o'clock.

haven't blogged in a few days cause i was at matt's place in homer city, pa.  just south of indiana, pa, home of IUP, where matt and erica go to school.  it was cool cause we didn't do ANYTHING.  not a single thing was accomplished in the day and a half or so i was there.  we watched tv, watched movies (i saw star wars episode 2 for the third time courtesy of brian's bootleg video), and sat around, mixed with some drinking.  the only useful thing we did was go to the mall, where i picked up a cd called multimedia french, which i will need.... (isn't this like a game show?  you know, where the small crappy prizes are useful for the big prize, i.e. "this 6-pack of tree air-fresheners... to go with ... YOUR BRAND NEW CAR!").....i will need for....

my trip to france in august.  yes, that's right.  i'm going to sailing camp with eric "le french" jabart.  now, it's going to be a bit difficult, and i'm gonna have to work my butt off this summer parce que je parle français comme une vache espagnole.  i speak french like a spanish cow.  hopefully eric will teach me how to talk french good so i can communicate right with them folks.  sailing camp is paid off: €380 (euros, i had to go to the character map for that one.  it's alt-0128 for future reference.)  about $350, i think.  now all i have to do is get a medical thing signed, get a passport, and get a flight.  sigh i have my work cut out for me.

at dunkin donuts tonight we ran into michael bonner and jerilyn, two redheads, one much more attractive than the other .  i don't know what it is about me and redheads that drives me completely crazy.  oh wait i think i do.  it's the very very fair complexion.  and freckles: i really like freckles.

wait a minute, tom.  sarah has none of these things.  that's true.  but it's so much more than that. sure redheads are exotic, but i don't think that's what i really want in a girl.  i can honestly say that all i could want in a girl is in sarah.  i think we are a really really great match.   i'm really lucky to have a girl like her.  sure i may find red hair attractive (especially curly... grrrrrrrowr) but in the end i really love sarah.

right enough about that, hopefully that will get me out of the hole that i dug.  anyway i said before that everyone here was asleep, well that everyone is kevin, barrett, and erik (brian and matt were here but left).  we watched clerks, a movie classic in its own right, and they all fell asleep.  probably cause we've all seen it like 9 times.

so here i am, drenched in the purple light coming from my marshmallow peep desktop background, typing as quietly as possible, listening to all kinds of weird noises.   people are so weird when they sleep.  you're a totally different person when your subconscious comes out to play and knocks your normal self off the merry-go-round.  sleeping people are not nice.  especially me.  if you need to wake me up, i pity you.

speaking of that i better get to bed before my dad wakes up to go to work, which is about 5 minutes from now.  good night, wherever you are.

end transmission.
