less filling, tastes great

feelin: burned

now playin': cake : stickshifts and safetybelts

friday erik stuck around and i ran some errands, like getting my passport (well, applying for it).  i gave my middle name as "osama".  i hope the state department has a sense of humor. heehee.

then we decided to go to *fanfare* the FRIEDENSBURG BLOCK PARTY.  man that place was full of more white trash than the nra. erik and i made a pseudo-bet that we could pick up chicks, any age.  we chickened out though, i mean it's just not nice.  then we went to the elementary west playground and sat around while tons of 14 year olds made out in the darkness.  brian has this thing now (hopefully it's temporary) that he's all about pretending to be a drug dealer.  it's pretty sketchy.  he has no actual drugs, he just wants to offer them.  in case it comes down to it, he has two little bags of dill weed or oregano or something to offer.  now i don't know if you can get busted for selling oregano, but i still don't think it's a good idea.  then again, when has that stopped brian in the past?

so the only useful thing we did that night was go to dunkin donuts, where i got a TRAVEL MUG, to be environmentally friendly and cost-effective.  i mean c'mon, we go there EVERY SINGLE NIGHT.  that night the crowd was classic MERB.  in case you don't know, that's mansell, erik, reider, and barrett.  the original.  classic merb is a sight not often seen, because of some new acquisitions, but it really is the foundation of my group of friends.  it's kind of like the elements, like we are all different (earth, fire, wind, water), and people that come along are spokes off of us. e.g. kevin came in with barrett, neal with me, etc.  well at any rate it was the last classic merb for a while, since barrett is off to massachusetts, erik goes back to hazelton, and i'm heading back to baltimore in about a week.

my face is all red for so many reasons.

saturday was the princeton-hopkins game.  we drove two hours to the exit off the intersate, only to wait another hour to get to the school and park the car.  grr.  i got there about halfway through the first quarter after walking over with a kid in the princeton band.  <shudder>  we got down 6-1 in the first quarter and never got back into it.  we lost 11-9. grrr.  i'm glad princeton didn't win this year, though. (syracuse did, 13-12)

then saturday night we went bowling, thereby exhausting any and all amusement in this stupid place. afterwards, we went to dunkin donuts again.  surprise surprise.  met up with michael bonner AGAIN.  conversation, little else.

sunday was jamie's graduation party.  lots of little-seen family members, some less than others.  lots of beer as well.  i was supposed to drive home, but mom offered for me to stay the night.  well then i started drinking.  miller lite isn't that bad, it turns out.  hung out with some fun college kids.  puked.  (discreetly!)  i'm not proud of it.  i think it was because i just drank my water too fast.  blech that makes 4 times i've puked from drinking.  you'd think i'd learn my lesson.  eergh.

monday, memorial day, was nothing special.  in fact all i did was watch spongebob and play with my website.  i'm going to baltimore tomorrow so tonight probably won't be that interesting.

and now it's time for dinner.

end transmission.
