feelin': bored, slightly uneasy

20: in the resnet office.... again.

we're meeting raphael in a half hour to do PORT JACK MAPPING HOORAY!!  and i've got nothing better to do.  boy, lots to talk about today.

brian came this weekend, hung out for a while, that was cool.

my house got broken into friday night/saturday am.  it really pisses me off for a few reasons: 1) we have adt, and that was the one door not alarmed.  2) eric was asleep downstairs on the couch in the SAME ROOM.  3)  i lost like $27 cash, brian lost $13 cash and his digital camera, pete lost his toolbox.  that's another thing.  a toolbox?  who the fuck steals that?  unless they are going to use it for their next break-in.... the weird thing is the previous night, jon and mary were over talking about a break-in at mary's house (206 e. university, about 2 blocks up the street) and how they lost a laptop, and how the burglar locked the doors and everything.  well this guy (or girl) i guess took the window out, because there was no broken glass, just a lack of window pane.  he/she also locked the door again.   we went to home depot the next day and got an alarm for that door and a bigazz deadbolt so it doesn't happen again. the house is pretty much secure now, but it's still unsettling to know that someone came in the house, rummaged through stuff, took stuff from wallets (no cards, thankfully) and left with eric asleep right there on the couch.  it's just lucky that nothing worse happened.

on top of that, pete really boogered up his car on thursday night, he bent the car frame about three inches back, and the mechanic says it will be ~$500-$1000 to fix.  pete definitely doesn't need that this week. well, he doesn't need it at all, but especially now with all the one-time activation fees, security deposits, etc.

i did the show on saturday, again, and i got invited to read for jekyll and hyde (performed january, february, and march) AND all but offered the part of lt. cable (a principal part) in south pacific (starting in september til ?) of course if i were to take this role, according to miss helen, i will have to lose some weight.   sigh... i guess he is a marine.  so hopefully i will begin the planned regimen soon.  like today.  last night's dinner was tacos and ice cream, so that was a good send-off from the world of fattening food.  rice cakes ahoy!

that being said, i guess it's off to map those jacks.
