so, remember how i said i was definitely not going to do oklahoma?

well....

see the guy that's playing will parker (a fairly substantial role, i must say) can't be there for the SECOND WEEKEND of the SHOW.  so they called me and practically begged me (not in so many words) to do this.

i'm not even that good of an actor, they just needed SOMEBODY and that somebody, apparently, is going to be me.

i made it clear to them that i will rehearse on my terms.  meaning i will go to whatever rehearsals i can, but i'm definitely not giving up any mental notes things for this.  they need me and they're just gonna have to take what i can give them cause frankly they have no other choice.

i am a diva.

anyway, aside from a shitload of lines/songs/dancing (?!) to learn, life is pretty ok. 

today was lab clean-up.  see, janitors aren't allowed to come in and clean the labs (smartly so) you know, so as not to disrupt experiments and what not..  so the lab almost NEVER gets cleaned.  it was pretty disgusting, lemme tell you.  all kinds of fungi and bacteria all over the place in there. all scummy.

but we got free pizza!  so it's all good.

did you ever notice that all your classes tend to run together and cover ALL the same material?  for example, freshman year spring was 3-D.  calc 3, orgo, physics 2, all 3-d type stuff, stereochemistry, magnetic fields, etc.  then last semester it was thermo and transport and diff eq, all of which overlap continuously.  now it's all about proteins and kinetics and what not.  does that happen to you?

hmm.  i gotta prepare for tonight's festivities.  well, festivity.  sunday is pete's birthday. more details later.  ah the hell with it pete isn't going to read my weblog in the next 10 minutes.  sarah and i are taking him out to rainforest cafe, then going to see the mighty mighty bosstones in towson.  should be very fun.

oh by the way, this is me if i ever decided to be evil.
