healthy, wealthy, and ... um... what was that last part?

kial: tired, and not in the mood for work
kie: right in the middle of an as yet non-existent snowstorm
kio: new kids on the block: hangin' tough

so i have recently been on this kick.
and it goes like this.
bed around 1, wake up at 9.

well i was good for the first two days, then it caught up with me. up til 4 last night working on one of two assignments. set alarm for 7 to go to hac lab early.* did you know that snooze alarms turn off after an hour's worth of snoozing? preposterous. anyway, i woke up at 9:30 and left around 10 to go to the stinkin hac lab. stayed there til 1 working on thermo, ended up not turning it in anyway. sigh. from 2:30-3:30 i did some finishing touches on a presentation i was supposed to give today. well, after numerous technical difficulties, the details of which are rather inconsequential, it was decided that my presentation would wait til monday. that's good i guess. cause that's when the accompanying paper is due. so i basically stayed up half the night for nothing.
i'm getting up early tomorrow to finish my thermo. i can't believe it's taken me almost 20 YEARS to realize that you can't get EVERYTHING done the night before it's due. this is the first time that i have ever had to deal with this. heck, i didn't even pull an all-nighter until second semester sophomore year. and not to do that at hopkins, well, that's like being irish and not drinking til you're 21!

*i hate the hac lab. it's so big. i can never get anything done there, but it's the only place i can go to use Mathematica, necessary for thermo homework and impending thermo project.

enough senseless drivel. time for happy thoughts.

****SNOW**** is coming. sewiously, you guys. aaaaany minute now..... man, by watching the news you'd think we were in florida the way they're hyping this suspected 3-6" on its way. why, when i was a kid in PA.... *club* much better. anyway, the news is all "time to stock up on groceries!" are we in siberia here? is it a 30 minute walk to the nearest store? i bet it doesn't even snow. JUST BECAUSE of all the hype. last i saw the storm wrapped around baltimore but left a big gaping hole right over the city. yay pollution!

babes in toyland is coming. yay. no it actually is kinda fun. and even though my part is the hero, and all the action revolves around me, it's well, not very substantial. the play itself is more about the scenery and costumes than about plot and character development. which is fine by me.

in other freaky blogista news, letters to cleo: i want you to want me just came up on my playlist. dun dun dunnnnnnnn.
