parking in the 21st century

kie: läb
kiel: feelin' good about the summer
kio: the hum of various machines

GREAT IDEA of the week: so i went to the airort to pick up sarah yesterday and they have this thing there called SmartPark, basically there is a little laser above every parking spot that tells a computer whether or not there is a car there. this info is displayed on signs at each aisle of the parking garage. for example, one aisle may say "8" and have a green arrow, while another aisle, a full one would say "XXX" in red. what a damn great idea! right up there with the little arrow on the fuel gauge i tell you what.

a couple new girls are working in the lab. pam is a rising junior bio major and becky is a rising senior from indiana state here for the summer. they're both kinda cute :), and at the very least interesting people.

334 is having a party friday the 13th so that should be fun. and speaking of debauchery, i'm off to celebrate coleman's 21st.
