win-tery mix

kie: 243 rocky pond road, plymouth, mass
kiel: kinda tired but altogether pleased
kio: news4 sports report, espn nfl prime time

so i'm in plymouth visiting sarah's family.
as elissa mentioned earlier, i don't really count as a guest here anymore. (of course, this is when i tried to get out of shoveling the 3-4 inches of snow that fell tonight.)
chuck and kathy are eating leftovers from today's tailgating for the patriots game. they're patriots season ticket holders, and thus get first dibs on playoff tickets at the same price as regular seats (~$75). so that's where they were today. it was a pretty good game. i have a lot of respect for peyton manning; i think he is a great quarterback. but the pats defense just shut them down in a sort-of-remake of last year's snow bowl in foxborough.

new england sports fans are crazy. <--- NOT NEWS!
i know, but today during the game when it was 20-3, with 3:15 left in the last quarter, i was like: "i know you are gonna kill me for saying this, but i think this one is over." i got yelled at and was forced by sarah's friend mike to knock on wood after saying it. (incidentally, i knocked on sarah's house, which is made of wood.) honestly, you can barely run up and down the field three times in three minutes, let alone score three times against the patriot defense. still, mike told me about how he punched his roommate in the face when aaron boone hit his famous homer in the 2003 alcs for jinxing it. also, his roommate is "borderline retarded". great.

well, enough jock talk.

i spent last night in boston with coleman and becky and heather, who live in boston burbs (coleman) and cambridge (the other two). lots of drinking (including, but not limited to a 40) and talk about sex and poop. yup. ever hear of "dropping the cosby kids off at the pool"?

i awoke to pancakes and bacon at becky's this morning. this gives me a chance to plug greg's pancakelog, a flapjack-filled internet journey through the breakfast life of a true connois-syrup. yes, that's the best i could come up with. if you have a better pancake-related pun then by all means be my guest and leave a comment.

speaking of plugging, you may have noticed google ads at the bottom of the page. i'm not looking to make money here, i just want to know what the pay schedule is like. my guess is that about 100 click-throughs (you have to click them) is about one cent. at this rate, i'll make about 6 cents this year. so click the ads, just once, so i can find out how many clicks it takes to get some money. then i'll remove the ads. i promise.

hey, 3 updates in three days. awesome. i totally win weblog.
