how to write an abstract OR summarization for dummies

Abstract writing can be one of the most difficult tasks involved in writing a scientific paper. The writer not only needs to provide a summary of the entire work in one or two short paragraphs, but needs to provide it in a manner that can stand apart from the rest of the work. Adequate context, while necessary for comprehension by the reader, seems out of place and detailed. Without context, the reader is confused. In addition results that make perfect sense inside the work are practically meaningless without appropriate context. This work demonstrates that though good abstract writing is elusive, it can be accomplished with creativity and resolve.
