EVERYBODY PANIC

ohmygodyouguys! you will NOT believe what they did on the FACEBOOK! they, like, added this, like, new feature, and it's like, totally stalkerish!! like, you can see when your friends update their profiles and everything! oh my god! what if someone, like, sees information about me that i willingly posted on the internet? this is a PRIVACY ISSUE!!!!1 they have totally gone too far! i'm totally never changing my profile again!

okay, i was being sarcastic. facebook put in this thing called a "News Feed", that updates whenever a friend changes his profile or writes on someone's wall or does something. immediately, facebook groups sprang up complaining about this, citing concerns that it was "too stalker-esque". one particular group has almost 400,000 members.

people. if you don't want people to see things about you online, DON'T PUT THEM ONLINE! how hard is that? seriously! the facebook admins have a right to change the site however they please. in fact, they could shut down the whole site tomorrow! it's their prerogative.
