yeah so i just accidentally closed the window i was typing in so i lost everything that i just blogged. oh well

yeah so yesterday was a bad day.  well not bad, but definitely not good.  i ate lunch, then remembered that i had a homework assignment due that i had gotten an extension on on friday for monday.  (is gotten a word?)  anyway, so i spent the afternoon that i was SUPPOSED to have spent writing a paper for tuesday (today) doing that stupid transport homework.

yeah so i parked the car on charles street when i got back from the show the other day.  mind you i have my parents' car, a 97 pontiac bonneville, aka a fricking boat.  very hard to park on the streets of this crappy city.  so i had to park in temporary parking.  for those of you who don't know, if you're parked on charles street between 4:30 and 6 on a weekday you get towed.  so i had to move the car, but i couldn't park it anywhere so i parked it in a 2 hour zone.  AHH see i did it again.  it's actually from 4-6:30.  i made that mistake yesterday too, cause i went out to move the car again at 6 thinking i could go on charles street, but no, it was 6:30.  so i parked it there again and decided to wait until 6:30 then come out and move onto charles street.  so i forgot about it until about 9:45, and came out to see a nice $27 parking ticket on my windshield.  grrr.

yeah so i spent the late afternoon/evening attempting to start my paper, then unwisely went to bill bateman's at 11 for all you can eat wings with dan, dan, greg, alan, and brendan.  yes.  i had an even 3 dozen, which is light for me.  but it was kind of late, so i wasn't in prime condition.  after i got back, i went to the library and checked out the most books i've ever checked out, then set out to start my paper.

yeah so i started it at about 2.  i got like 2 pages right away, then just ceased functioning.  around 5:30 i decided to cut my losses and go to bed for my 9 am meeting with the professor, where i was supposed to turn the 10 page paper in. 

yeah so i got there and it turns out half the class didn't finish the paper.  (there are two people in the class!) but it was cool, we talked about possible directions for the paper and stuff like that.  basically i now have til the final on thursday to do it.

yeah so after this meeting thing i went back to sleep til about 4, when i woke up and went to a mental notes gig.  well i showered before i went.  it was funny because i got there and a couple people commented on my hair, as if i had gotten (is gotten a word?) it cut or something.    no no, i just SHOWERED!  i guess that's a hint?  i dunno.

yeah so that's about it i guess.  oh YEAH!  the other day i crashed jhunix, our main email and unix app server.  how you ask?  well i won't give exact instructions but basically i ping flooded it.  not even on purpose!  i just typed in this sequence that i thought wouldn't work (since it really should be secure). but it did.  pete and dan were both working on matlab assignments on the machine and after i did it i hear from both of them... hey, what the hell?  and i was like uh guys.... i killed jhunix.  so i called my boss and he stopped the router from pinging it and it came back up in about an hour.  but for that long anyone with a jhunix email address (3/4 of the campus) couldn't check their email.  oops!

yeah so tonight is the band party.  the year is winding down...... and i am craving summer.  i talked to barrett online today for a little bit for the first time in a while.  i wish i could stay in better touch with my buds at other schools.  sigh.  i dreamt last night that brian had an idea for a skit and we were gonna film when we got back. hmm.... remember merb tv?
