the hills are alive

feelin: good
now playing: adam sandler : somebody kill me please

yeah so today was a busy day, but i didn't do any work. i went to church where the priest reminded me a little bit of sam.  just in looks.

*song switch* franz von suppe : light cavalry overture

yeah so i ate a quick brunch.  i always get veggie burgers at wolman.  they're really good (at least i think so), and i always try to fortify them with extra stuff (beans, peppers, whatever)  so lately i've been putting crumbled up eggs on them.  well let me tell that that is a bad idea.  mine were kinda runny today and it was pretty gross.  i dunno.

*song switch* the who: tommy : i'm free

yeah so then i went to the show, the sound of music with the baltimore actors theatre conservatory.  about three weeks ago a friend of pete (my roommate) asked him to ask his friends if any of them would be interested in playing rolf in their production of the infamous play.  so i of course scrounged up from the mix of my free time with a rubber spatula and said i'd do it.  2 rehearsals later i was on stage .  now i'm doing it every sunday until closing.  pretty cool.  the thing is it's like a half hour away and it pretty much blows my sundays for til june.  the girl who plays brigitta is pretty cute.  even though brigitta is supposed to be 9, this girl is a senior in high school. and she has my im name so there is a possibility she's gonna read this. so i'll shut up.

*song switch* paul mccartney and wings (!) : live and let die

*song switch* miles davis : summertime

*song switch* rem : everybody hurts

yeah so when the songs switch i'm not gonna put em in the middle of the paragraph.  i.e. that paragraph took 3 songs to write.

*song switch* len : you steal my sunshine

yeah so what else?  uh...oh yeah then we went out after the play for a bit, then as soon as i came home i got picked up and went to my professor's house for dinner.  allow me to explain:  i'm taking this spanish class called "los andes: su historia y cultura" (for those of you who don't "HABLA ESPAÑOL" "LOS ANDES" is spanish for "THE ANDES").  there are two students in this class.  yeah.  so we went over to her house for dinner.  pretty cool.  her husband kept pouring out the wine, and then he got another bottle.  am i a lush?  it was good wine!  anyway she had this cool grain type stuff called quinoa that they eat in bolivia.  it has lots of protein in it.  yummy stuff although very expensive in the states. (though i bet you could buy it for $5 a ton in bolivia).  that was good.  then i came back and goofed off.

*song switch* phish : lengthwise

*song switch* beach boys : i get around

*song switch* john denver : leavin on a jet plane

yeah so let's just say that having two students in a class is good because basically you determine when you feel like handing in work.  my paper WAS due this friday, then monday, now tuesday.  so delightfully manipulative am i.

yeah so that's about it for now.  i was going to say something but i forget what it was.  maybe i'll post later if i remember.  i think it was a story from my days as a scampering youth.  stay tuned!

*song switch* santana : oye como va
