eego wa, dame desu yo!

feelin: content

now playin': can't hear anything over the 572853 fans blowing in this house.

work is work.  between resnet, research, and blue key last week, i worked about 40 hours.  good thing, since according to student employment you can only work 40 hours a week, otherwise hop has to pay you time and a half, and ain't nobody gonna be doin that.  so of course i will have to adjust time cards accordingly.

so sarah's here in baltimore; i picked her up at the airport on sunday.  the airport is a weird place.  all kinds of people go there.  and safety is such an issue since the shit hit the fan.  it's just so weird that if one thing goes wrong on a plane, the little baby, the old lady, the college kid, and the businessman are all screwed.  not a pleasant thought, a bit unsettling, so i believe we'll leave this train of thought... er... plane of thought.

hmm what else?  life in a house kicks butt.  especially when not all of the housemates are there.  heh, raj showed up on sunday, same as sarah, so now there are four of us.  i don't think that one more person will be too bad.  yes, i believe this living sitch will turn out quite nicely.

i'm talking to andrea online right now, reliving governor's school memories.  my my that was a crazy time to be alive.  high school kids given more degrees of freedom than a long chain polymer (albeit restricted e.g. still a curfew, no boys on girls floors, etc).  but it was our first taste of living on our own, no parents washing clothes, having to take responsibility for things like eating and sleeping.  i got like 4 hours of sleep every night, i think just because i was so excited to be on my own.  you know, just because i could!  even though i had to get up at 7 every morning.  crazy, just crazy.    the only thing i liked about governor's school's curriculum was japanese.   intensive japanese drill every morning.  that was cool stuff.

resnet/research are going fine, i'm getting into a quasi-routine.  i wish it included french and exercise though, cause i'm going to need them come sailing camp.

end transmission.

ed: for a while i would end posts with "end transmission" until i decided that that was really stupid. also, this is before i started using the esperanto correlatives for my where, what and how. also: can you spot the nerdy joke?!?!?! -9/5/06
