i'm waiting for a gel to be finished. i've noticed that this week, or at least monday, i've been sandwiching social time with work. as in, work, eat, work, some playtime, back to work, crash at home. i wonder if that is a good idea. it certainly will help me wean myself off of doing nothing. however, i worked 10 hours yesterday and i'm working on 9.5 today.

my dad works 4 10's and gets friday off. not bad, i say. you're only allowed to work for the university 40 hours a week or they are legally required to pay you overtime, and you know that's not gonna happen.

beep beep gel's done.

dammit. gel failed. turns out i made the same mistake as the previous researcher. (had i read the next page in his notes i would have caught it.)

now i'm frustrated. i'm going home to blow up my housemates (read: play quake)
