like the smartest kid in special ed

kie: oficina
kiel: pretty good for having gotten up at 7. also, satyaprakash keeps this damn office incredibly hot. so i'm also hot.
kio: soma fm - illinois street lounge - jack beaver - workaday world. this tune is the one you often hear in those old '50s instructional filmstrips.

i spent a few hours over the past few days reading my entire weblog, from the early days of spring sophomore year (when it was hosted on xanga), to its home on a linux box back in 334 in baltimore, to its eventual move to the far superior blogger. after sifting through some mundane entries about everything i did for many days and after literally hundreds of wonderfully awful puns, i picked out some of the entries that i liked the best.

click over on the menu under "are you new?" to see some of my favorite blog entries over the past 4+ years, most of which, except the recent ones, have some comments at the end from an older, wiser me.

i know that i've said that i don't like having favorite things, but "favorites" is the most appropriate word here. never mind the fact that out of 175 or so posts so far, about 40 are marked as "favorites".

the reasons vary. some posts tell a funny or life-changing story, some feature a deliciously dreadful pun, some give insight to my changing character and state of mind over the past 4 years, and some talk about poop.

it's not shakespeare, trust me, but it is what it is.

so if you want, have a click. i used a blogger hack from hackosphere to include only the titles of the entries in the archive page. thanks, hackosphere dude, this was exactly what i was looking for.
